'The little and the good thing' poem

The little and the good thing
You live your life from day to day,
You don’t notice others pain,
You walk beside them, but you never really knew how it's like
To be under their skin,
Our culture doesn’t have the resources to boost our self esteem,
It only pushes us away from our mental self realization; we are being swept by the flush of people,
Acting like robots, like we thought we needed to act in order to fit in,
While acting like some steel machines we ignore others people worlds,
We sank deep into our world without knowing what is really going in others lives.
When you're in pain, everyone's life routine goes on like nothing happened,
You feel like rotted flower, that people doesn’t even stop to look at, trampling over you,Without feeling any guilt or shame
What did happen to our world, the world with care and compassion?
We turned out to be egocentric people who only care about our own progress and don’t mind to build our success by treading others.
How could the life possibly still go on that way?
While we think we gain our wealth, we miss the most important things in life, only by giving to others; you can feel that you did something that can fill the emptiness inside your soul,
The little and the good thing that people can give to each other,
Like a good word with empathy to others pain, like sharing some bread, it's the only way
That can lighten up someone's day,
and make you see that only for such little things we still exist.
